About the Department
Bachelor of Environmental Engineering program is a program under the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The program has been approved by the Ministry of University Affairs at that time to open teaching at the Bachelor's degree level since the academic year 1997. The program is 4-years curriculum and has received an educational standard certificate from the Office of the Higher Education Commission, certifying the qualifications of graduates as having dignity and privileges equivalent to those graduated from state institutions. The program is also certified by the Council of Engineers allowing graduates to apply for a certificate of occupational engineering from the Council of Engineers.
The Program of Environmental Engineering bachelor degree is operated to develop 120 students every year to be able to apply the knowledge in environmental engineering in order to analyze and solve environmental problems effectively under work ethics and to be able to continuously improve themselves. The focus of the program is problems in the southern region related to the main industries such as rubber industry, oil palm and seafood, covering four main environmental problems:
- Tap water or water supply
- Waste water
- Solid and hazardous waste
- Air pollution and climate change
- As well as enhancing knowledge in environmental management science and related laws to better solve local problems
The Program Philosophy
The Program has adopted the university's educational philosophy to the program's philosophy. Our philosophy is to organize education that learners are at the center of learning by emphasizing the active learning process and the learning process from interdisciplinary work to promote self-learning and continuous self-development. As a result, all courses in the program are assigned to have active learning during lectures hours and must integrate field work experiences into the learning process. All courses allow students to search for information by themselves and emphasize hands-on practice. The four main courses are designed as module courses that include laboratory hours for lab work or system design.

This round considers portfolios, cumulative GPA (GPAX) from 5 semesters, and interviews for some projects. The faculty accepts students through various sub-projects, including:
- Projects for students with excellent academic performance
- Projects for vocational certificate students
- PSU Engineering Quota Project
- Luk Phra Ratcha Bida (Child of the Royal Father) Project
- Mongkhonsuk Scholarship Project
TCAS2: Quota (14 Southern Provinces)
This round is open only to students from the 14 southern provinces of Thailand. In addition to the criteria from TCAS1, applicants are also required to submit central examination scores, such as A-Level scores.
TCAS3: Admission
This round is for nationwide admissions conducted by the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT). It considers central examination scores, TGAT scores (Thai General Aptitude test), and TPAT3 scores (Engineering competency test).
TCAS4: Direct Admission
This is the final direct admission round for the Faculty of Engineering. The number of admissions in this round is set lower than in other rounds to reserve spots for students who lost their academic status in previous years or students who have not yet found an institution.
