On January 9, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot, Vice President for Academic and International Relations, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nikhom Suvonvorn, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prince of Songkla University attend a preparation workshop and the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding on academic cooperation under the project to drive Thai higher education institutions to apply for ABET accreditation by 2025 between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and 16 higher education institutions nationwide.
Cooperation objectives:
- To encourage cooperation in implementing the project to drive Thai higher education institutions to receive accreditation from Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) of the United States by 2025 between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, and Prince of Songkla University, which are clear guidelines leading to concrete results by 2025.
- To develop teaching and learning of the engineering curriculum of Prince of Songkla University, have quality standards consistent with ABET standards of the United States, and expand the results to other higher education institutions.
